Shelley Davis-Hall MVP Award

Shelley became an integral part of Stettler Minor Soccer when she began coaching her children in the sport.  She immediately took a lead role in mentoring other coaches and athletes, sharing her love of the game.  Shelley was key in making SMSA a competitive soccer program in the CASA league.  We will forever be grateful for Shelley’s contributions to our association, and will award one player from each team the “Shelley Davis-Hall MVP”.

Recipients must demonstrate the following:

• Technical skill/ability
• Drive and determination
• Passion/love of soccer
• Commitment to success
• Coachable

Janine Glasier Spirit Award (Heart & Hustle)

Janine was a prominent member of Stettler Minor Soccer Association for all of the years her kids played soccer.  She was always quick to tackle any job - big or small, for the benefit of our soccer club.  Janine’s laughter was infectious and she always made those around her feel supported and welcome.

Each year, SMSA will award one player from each team the “Janine Glasier Spirit Award.  The recipient of this award must demonstrate the folllowing:

• Heart/love of the game
• Strong leader
• Passionate about soccer
• Positive attitude
• Coachable
• Demonstrates sportsmanship at all times, team spirit, and has fun
